OSM STADIUM

OSM has its own soccer stadium for kids and young players in Norway.

At Fevik, between the Norwegian cities of Arendal and Grimstad, there is a brand new soccer field. The grass bristles greenly in spite of autumn and cold rain. Due to the severe weather the field has been constructed using artificial grass. This allows the young Norwegian players to enjoy their game all year round.
We were raised in an environment that was good and safe in every respect. The people of Fevik are good at caring for each other. We were supported and brought up to believe that anything is possible, says Jan Morten Eskilt.

Jan Morten Eskilt grew up in Fevik with Bjørn Tore Larsen, the chairman of OSM Group, Later, the two friends founded OSM. They feel indebted to the small community of a few thousand people for their safe childhood.

Building a stadium, even one for children, is not a cheap undertaking, and the local sports club would not have managed it without support from private enterprises. Without OSM it would not have been possible. OSM has been a significant contributor to the project, says Magne Aslaksen from the local sports club Express. OSM has contributed financially and made it easier for us to solicit support from local industry, says Aslaksen.
The sports club is honoring OSM by naming the stadium OSM Stadion. A well known blue logo also adorns the center of the field.

Jan Morten Eskilt finds that amusing, but the most important thing is that the kids here in Fevik have a good field. We feel that we owe them that. This is way of giving something back, says Eskilt.
