MAIDEN VOYAGE FOR "HOEGH CARIBIA"

This week the car carrier «Hoegh Caribia» had her maiden voyage.

In January the car carrier «Hoegh Caribia» was taken under management by OSM Singapore. «Hoegh Caribia» is the second of the four PCTC (pure truck and car carrier) vessels built at Kyokuyo Shipyard in Japan for Gram Car Carriers. After the final sea trials, the vessel was transited to the Pacific and headed for her trading area in Caribbean.

She was the venue for a welcoming celebration when she made her first discharge port call at Kingston, Jamaica on the 26th and 27th of February on her maiden voyage.

Captain Kuckeyko, his officers and crew played host to charterers, Hoegh Autoliners and their special guests who included representatives from local business and Port Authorities.

OSM Singapore has full technical management of the vessel and Captain Rajan Mathrani advises that all regulatory requirements were managed very well and the event was a big success.
