OSM Ship Management has won a contract with AfraMar to fully manage their aframax tanker . The 11 year old Japanese built vessel, better known as the ADS OSLO (or the “Pacific Leo”) is set to load crude oil in Vietnam, for transport to China.
The contract will be directly managed from OSM Arendal and will involve 21 crew members and will be commanded by Captain Roy.
OSM is able to draw on its long standing history within the shipping sector to provide effective solutions that will meet AfraMar AS’s business needs and is excited to use this opportunity to further build its expertise in the full management of tanker vessels.
Kjell Andreassen, Managing Director of OSM Ship Management AS, said: “We are delighted to work with AfraMar to provide full technical management and crewing services for their vessel. The reward of this contract reflects the benefit of our investment in OSM’s management systems and people to create a high quality ship management company that can deliver top quality results.”
OSM has managed a broad selection of vessels enabling staff to provide forward-thinking solutions to owners that provide reliability, quality, and cost savings all while keeping the owners needs as their top priority. OSM is looking forward to applying these skills to build a long lasting relationship with AfraMax.
