Viking Bravery & Viking Destiny achieve max load records

OSM Ship Management Singapore is proud to share that the hard work invested by our crew onboard the pair of Viking sister vessels, the Viking Bravery and Viking Destiny, has resulted in two record loading operations - improved cargo intake without compromising vessel safety, and having reached these peaks over a span of more than two years following the first vessel of this series rolled out of Jinling Shipyard.

Ian Morgan, OSM Fleet Director, provides further details, “The Viking Bravery achieved 7703t cargo under challenging maximum departure draft restrictions set by Emden port.  A few days later, the Viking Destiny loaded 10214t cargo and sailed from Gemlik, Turkey to the Persian Gulf while accommodating all the cargo that charterers could possibly book, undoubtedly the heaviest load accepted by any vessel in this class.”

“We congratulate both Masters and their crew for their distinct achievements and encourage all our colleagues at sea to raise the performance bar a bit further each time a challenge such as this presents itself.  In challenging markets, as today, it is absolutely necessary to outperform our competitors and Viking Bravery, Viking Destiny have just set a grand example of how to deliver just that.”

Wishing safe seas and calm winds to all colleagues at sea.
